🤔 What is Toronto Climate Week

Backed by the City of Toronto, Toronto Climate Week (TOCW) transforms the city into a global stage for climate solutions by uniting Canada's climate ecosystem and welcoming international partners to participate in a week of cross-sector collaboration.

As a decentralized event platform, TOCW convenes climate innovators, industry leaders, creators, researchers, policymakers, and community groups to catalyze innovation, investment, and public engagement. The week positions Toronto as a leading climate hub and connects Canada’s climate efforts with the world.

Our 2026 theme is The Canadian Competitive Advantage: how climate policy, capital, and creativity are shaping Canada’s next era of prosperity.

We will explore this theme through the following tracks:

Note: events that do not fall under these tracks can still be included provided they fall under our Event Criteria Guidelines.

Annual event June 1 - 7, 2026. Sign up for one of our General Information Webinars to learn more.

🕖 Why Now? Why Toronto?

This is an opportune time for Canada to secure its position as a global climate leader. As climate ambition slows in other parts of the world, especially the U.S., we have the chance to step up to the plate, with credibility, innovation, and a sense of urgency.

As Prime Minister Mark Carney reflected in Davos, if we’re not at the table, we’re on the menu. So join us in building a future where Toronto brings together Canadian innovation and stands among the world’s foremost climate hubs, known for breakthrough innovation, inclusive collaboration, and the ability to turn climate ambition into collective action.
